Dez’s Blurbs…..

After a lot of deliberation I have decided to continue with the site, anyone who knows me will know that i didnt get to a lot of gigs last year due to a rather serious leg injury, thats now well on the mend and I'm now getting out and about again, so please be patient, it will take a while to get the site back up to speed but i am working on it, hopefully with a little help from friends who are far more experienced in web design than I am.. so here we are.. HullRocks again !

Stone Temple Pilots to reform?.. is this the end of Velvet revolver?

Scott Weiland made an announcement in Florida at the weekend that the Stone Temple Pilots are to have a reunion sometime in the next year, Weiland fronted STP from 1990 to when the band broke up in 2003.. but does this spell the end for VR?

In a statement first published by Blabbermouth.net, it was said "Following Velvet Revolver's performance last night [Wednesday, February 6] in Los Angeles, lead singer Scott Weiland voluntarily entered a rehab facility. Tonight's San Diego show at the House of Blues has been postponed; the rescheduled date for San Diego is [to be announced]. Velvet Revolver deeply apologize to their fans and thank them for sticking by the group."

But not from KISS, He was evicted from Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice show after doing what hes best at Being the title of one of his solo albums (asshole)

Apparently he defected to the Womens team, refused a sponsorship brief from show sponsors Kodak and wouldn’t consider any suggestions but his own to be valid.. ahh good old Gene!

Planty was drinking with a woman in Camdens 55 Bar when he asked staff to change the music from radiohead branding it “Rhyming Crap”, staff were happy to oblige and changed the music to Red Hot Chili peppers thinking it would be more to his taste. Mr Plant was still unimpressed likening it to a nursery rhyme and asked for Captain Beefheart to be played. I wonder if they would be so obliging to a non celebrity guest?
